ROMANS 15:1 (MSG) - Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status. Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?”

I love that thought! Strength is for service. Serving an internship in a Church or non-profit organisation lets you apply the theory from the classroom to real life situations.

Here are just a few reasons why an Internship is an investment in your future:

  1. Transferable skills that you can use in any career and throughout life
  2. Real world experience in live work placements
  3. Full training and support provided every step of the way
  4. Explore a career path
  5. Network with professionals

You will not only have hands on experience in a safe and supportive environment, but you will be guided and mentored every step of the way as you develop as a leader. The skills you will learn while carrying out your internship will be valuable not only while you are studying, but will be the building blocks for your future.

We are all called to be leaders, whether it’s at home, in the workplace or in church. The practical internship will equip and empower you to grow existing skills and talents, and develop new emerging skills that you never knew you had!
